Business Systems Analysts

If you would like to...

• Work on complex, enterprise-transforming business applications
• Take responsibility for ensuring that applications fulfill the business requirements by identifying user stories and completing the detailed analysis required for the implementation of the user story
• Work closely with the development team to ensure the timely delivery of business requirements
• Review functionality of enterprise level business applications
• Be part of diverse, high energy teams focused on full life-cycle development
• Use the latest tools and techniques
• Continually learn, mentor and grow
• Travel to work at client sites and other ThoughtWorks offices. This may include international travel

And you have...

• At least 4 years of commercial experience in business or systems analysis
• Familiarity with object oriented analysis and design and have worked on systems developed in Java J2EE, .NET and C++
• Experience in writing use cases, defining acceptance tests, following requirements through to production and training developers in business issues
• Exposure to modelling tools and languages such as Visio, Rose, UML and ERD
• Participated in full lifecycle development on large projects (more than 15 people. Longer than 6 months)
• Ideally worked on a programme using Agile methods and writing story cards
• Exceptional communication and people skills, especially listening skills
• Worked very closely with developers to deliver systems
