ThoughtWorks is a fast growing technology consultancy with an enviable track record of delivering real business value. Our Australian operation has been around for over seven years and we employ around 100 people. We're in a period of growth and we're currently looking to hire exceptional developers at a variety of levels in both our Sydney and Melbourne offices to help us continue to delight our clients.

If you join, you'll play a varied role in a really fast growing, unhierarchical consultancy. This is the place to be if you want to put your technical knowledge to the test in a variety of onsite client environments and constantly use the latest methodologies and technologies. As well as ensuring the delivery of custom built software, you will also be working with clients to advise them about their technology and design choices.

We take our hiring very seriously, so to be considered you'll have experience of the following:

• Delivery experience within complex, enterprise environments using Java J2EE, C# or Ruby on Rails
• Have worked across the whole SDLC including analysis, design, coding and implementation of large scale custom built object-oriented applications
• Strong OO design skills, including good design patterns knowledge
• Interest in or experience of Agile Methodologies, such as Extreme Programming (XP) and Scrum
• Ability to work in a variety of client settings and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Worked in a forward looking environment using techniques such as test driven development and continuous integration
• Strong communication and client-facing skills with the ability to work in a consulting environment
